Aisling Bea

Aisling was born March 16 1984, in Kildare Ireland. She is one of Ireland's top-rated and popular comedians. She appeared on QI along with Stephen Fry. Aisling Cliodhnadh (born 16th March, 1984) is a stand-up comedian and actress from Ireland. After playing bits on a number of Irish and British television shows since 2009 Bea began her stand-up comedian in 2011. After 2012 she had been performing in sketch comedy shows as well as sitcoms and similar shows. She began appearing regularly in panel shows following the win of an award from the Edinburgh Comedy Awards. She's a member of 8 Out of 10 Cats since the year 2016 and is one of the most popular contestants on the show's sister show 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown. The child was born to Brian O'Sullivan as well as Helen O'Sullivan. Sinead is her sister-in-law. She was in 2012 the second woman to ever win the So You Think You're Funny award. Bea was presented with the award in memory of her father. Aisling Cliodhnadh O'Sullivan was born in Kildare town County Kildare on 16 March 1984. Her father Brian was an equine veterinarian who took his own life when Bea was three years old. She was not told the cause of his death until she was thirteen. Bea adopted the stage name Bea to pay tribute to her father and she wrote an article for The Guardian in 2017 about the family's suicide experience. Bea, along with her sister Sinead and her sister Sinead, were brought up with Helen Moloney (n e Moloney) who was a jockey and teacher at a secondary-school. She and her family loved horses, race meetings and the racing industry. Bea was a child an instructor for the Irish National Stud. From a very young age, Bea knew that she was not interested in racing as a career. She was more interested in the artistic arts.
