In his early years as young adults the actor attempted stand-up comedy. This was not a very successful profession in comedy, but it was a step to pursue an acting career. In order to be successful in the field of comedy, he got a job working as a cameraman for the local cable TV station. While working at the television station realised the desire to work the front of cameras. He was offered a TV show and he appeared on several episodes of Mister Rogers Neighborhood. He was naturally gifted and quickly became a household name on TV. After establishing a successful film career, his funny performances brought him a lot of fame. The actor became more famous in the role of Batman who was the title character in Tim Burton's Batman. Being a mature actor he also began to venture into directing and producing. In 2014, his performance as Birdman garnered him many awards and nods.
