Alexandra-Maria-Lara
Alexandra Maria Lara is a Romanian-German film and television actress most well-known for her roles in films like Downfall Youth Without Youth Control and Rush. Being the sole daughter of Romanian actress Valentin Platareanu, Alexandra started her career in showbiz at a young age. She played lead roles in TV dramas as young at the age of 16. Her critically acclaimed role in the film made for television Der Tunnel paved way for other notable roles including the role of Adolf Hitler's secretary Traudl Junge from the critically and commercially successful Oscar nominated historical war drama film Downfall. The Reader as well as Der Baader Meinhof Komplex were also Oscar-nominated. Alexandra was engaged in numerous notable projects, both nationally and internationally. These include British biographical films Control Greek drama film The Dust of Time as well as the French historical miniseries Napoleon and many more. She was also an adjudicator at the Transylvania International Film Festival as in The Cannes Film Festival.
